Your senior living digital marketing does not stop once you get a resident.  If you have happy residents then you have to get them talking and sharing their story.

Step 7: Advocate

You now have a happy resident who has been comfortably living in your community.

The next stage in the Resident Value Journey is to create marketing that encourages your most loyal residents and their families to advocate for your community.

An advocate is someone who speaks positively about your community.

You might call these people, passive promoters.  They won’t necessarily go out of their way to promote your community, but when asked, they respond favorably.

The final two stages are often thought to be outside of the control of marketing and sales, but that is simply false.

You can create marketing that intentionally creates more advocates and promoters.

A few examples are:

  • Hosting a community-wide contest for the best testimonial video
  • Send out an email with a request for a review

These are very simple tactics, yet very effective and can provide terrific results for stage 1 – creating new awareness.
